With over 35 years of experience teaching both college and private art classes, David has established a reputation for conducting well organized, energetic, hands-on watercolor and drawing workshops. David’s figurative works are passionate and thoughtful. He starts his painting action by building on a photo foundation and prior drawing experience is not necessary. The process starts with a simple softy drawing pencil approach to transferring directly to watercolor paper and then expressive color and paint application procedures are applied throughout the painting process. This process can also be applied to still life, landscape, and abstract watercolor creations.
