Class & Master Workshop Pricing Policies
Southern Atelier strives to provide students with the highest quality of education at the lowest price possible. With that in mind, our pricing and refund policies are as follows:
All classes and workshops are held at Southern Atelier’s Sarasota location unless otherwise noted. Standard meeting times are as follows: Morning Sessions: 9:30am-12:30pm, Afternoon Sessions: 1-3:30pm, LIVE Online Sessions 2-5pm, EST, usually on Thursdays. Master Workshops usually take place between 9:30am-4:30pm with an hour break for lunch. Open Studio takes place Wednesday nights 4-7pm with a costumed model.
Registration and Fees
In-Person Classes are priced at $50 a session and Open Studio sessions are priced at $15 a session. Classes are priced in blocks according to the number of days that month has. For example, a month could have 4 or 5 Tuesdays or a month could contain a holiday. All classes must be paid in full to reserve a registration, either online or in person, before the student attends the first session of that class. Customized prices for pre-scheduled missed sessions for monthly classes are prohibited.
All Master Workshops must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop. We strongly urge students to buy refundable airline tickets in case of workshop cancellations or other unforeseen changes. Students are prohibited from selling their spot to another student. Students must reserve their space online or in person by check, cash, or credit card.
All sign ups for any and all classes, workshops and open sessions, whether online or in person, require a $10 administration fee at the time of purchase.
Most Master Workshops include a live model. When they do, a Model Share fee will be added at the beginning of the workshop depending on the number of students in attendance.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All classes and courses are non-refundable. Southern Atelier’s program registration is accepted as a first-come, first-served basis. All In-Person Class and LIVE Online deposits are non-refundable unless Southern Atelier cancels a session, class, or workshop. Classes and workshops with insufficient enrollment may be cancelled. Southern Atelier is not responsible for providing makeup classes or issuing refunds or credits for missed sessions as a result of illness, emergencies, or other events beyond our control, however extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Non-refundable fees include: administration fee, 3rd party processing fees, and a $200 non-refundable deposit on all Master Workshops, whether online or in person. If a Master Workshop is cancelled, students may be refunded or transfer non-refunded fees to another registration. Refunds and credits will not be given for missed Master Workshop Online Demos for any reason.
Class supplies are posted on our website with our course descriptions, or will be emailed to you upon request.
